Vive e trabalha actualmente em Klippan, Suécia. É licenciado em História da Arte pela Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (1996). Frequentou o Programa de Estudos Independentes da Maumaus Escola de Artes Visuais (2003-05) e realizou o Mestrado na Malmö Art Academy, Lund University (2007-09), com uma bolsa de estudo da Fundação Gulbenkian. Foi artista residente na International Künstlerhaus Villa Concordia, Bamberg (2010-2011) e vencedor do Prémio EDP Novos Artistas (2005). Expõe regularmente desde 2002. Entre as suas exposições individuais recentes devem referir-se: Apontamentos sobre a consciência de Zeno, Galeria 111, Lisboa (2018); Decadança, MNAC - Museu do Chiado, Lisboa, curadoria de Celso Martins (2017); Europa: Polar Shift, Museu de Portimão (2016); Flying High, Falling Low, Galeria 111, Lisboa (2013) e Porto (2014); Breathe in, breathe out, Galeria Mors Mössa, Gotemburgo (2013) e Seven Seconds, Martin Bryder Gallery, Lund, Suécia (2011). Pode ainda destacar-se a participação em exposições colectivas recentes, como Fazer sentido, Casa da Cerca, Almada, curadoria de Emília Ferreira (2018); Estranhos dias recentes de um tempo menos feliz, Atelier-Museu Júlio Pomar, curadoria de Hugo Diniz (2017); P. - Uma homenagem a Paulo Cunha e Silva, por extenso, Galeria Municipal do Porto, curadoria de Miguel von Hafe Pérez (2016); Um horizonte de proximidades: uma topologia a partir da colecção António Cachola, Arquipélago - Centro de Artes Contemporâneas, São Miguel, curadoria de Sergio Mah (2015-16). A sua obra encontra-se representada nas colecções Manuel de Brito, António Cachola, Fundação EDP, Museu de Arte do Rio (Brasil) e Danfoss Art Foundation, Nordborg (Dinamarca).

Artist currently living in Klippan, Sweden. Degree in Art History, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences - Nova University, Lisbon (1996).
